About Gil D. Boisoneau, D.D.S.
Dr. Gil Boisoneau is celebrating his 48th year as a general dentist here in Manchester. Following his service as a major in the Army Dental Corps, Dr. Boisoneau graduated from the University of Maryland in 1965. He is also an alumni of the L.D. Pankey Dental Institution. He has been a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association for over 47 years. Other memberships include the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Boisoneau has a varied background in dentistry, including total dentistry as well as special training in cranialfacial problems.
After residing in Manchester and Glastonbury, he now lives in Bolton, CT with his wife, Susan. He loves spending quality family time with his children, grand-children and 2 dogs.
Over the years, Dr. Boisoneau has served on the board of the Manchester Housing Authority and has participated in BrotherHood in Action and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He was also involved in Brotherhood action activities in both Manchester and Bolton, where he was The Grand Knight in Bolton for 2 years; and has been a 4th degree knight for 42 years.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Boisoneau has been involved in coaching and officiating all aspects of youth and high school football. He is the former president of the National Football Foundation (where he now serves on the executive board) and the College Hall of Fame Northern CT Chapter. You will still find Dr. Boisoneau playing golf and other sports. He currently plays on a senior basketball team as well as a softball team that includes several of his patients, as well as our own Dr. McCabe.
